Our New Building Is Coming

We are in the process of adding new classrooms to our school. Until the new classrooms are ready, some of our children are studying in temporary rooms. We will relocate them as soon as we can complete the new classrooms. Our donors have been kind enough to provide the funds required for this project, while still maintaining their monthly contribution that keeps the school running. The education system in Kenya is called 8 x 4 x 4, which is 8 years of elementary school, 4 years of high school and 4 years of college. Up to this point we have only had classes up to grade level 5. With additional classrooms we will be able to accommodate children up to grade level 8.

Computer’s Have Arrived

We are very excited that some computers have recently been donated to our school and the kids are excited. Our manager John went to Nakuru Town to pick up the computers and generator. This will provide an opportunity for the children to become computer literate thereby enabling them to further develop and advance their learning. The sky is the limit for our children.

Our Chickens Have A New Home

We have recently added a chicken coop which houses a flock of 100 chickens. The children eat the eggs which the chickens produce. This is very exciting for the children. Many of the children have never eaten eggs before.
